Create and Manage Services
Learn how to create and edit service from the Inventory Management module.
This section gives you step-by-step instructions for adding, updating, removing services from your inventory.
Unlike items, you can create services right ahead when you got your access to the Merchant Portal. It doesn't need pre-requisites for you to get started with Services.

Search for Services
If you have already saved a number of services in the list and you would like to search for a specific service, you can use the Search feature built-in every tab of Inventory Management.
- Type in your search keyword in the search field to start looking for the specific service.
- Search entries can be by Service Name, Description and Price.
Update a Service
- Head to the Inventory page of your Merchant Portal, click the Services tab.
- Click a row of an existing service from the list. You will be taken to the Service Details page allowing you to update or add other information regarding the service.
When editing service, the Service Details page is divided into two (2) sections:
Service Details | This section contains the details of the service that you created. |
Service Management History | This section displays the other information about the service that is not visible during the creation of service. |
Service Management History
This section displays the other information about the service such as the Employees list who can handle the service for the specific location and Items to be used or bundled in the specific service.
Service Info
- Displays the list of Employees who can handle the service.
Add Information | It allows you to input an inline item related to the Employees. The list includes Employee Name, Location, and Price. |
Save | It allows you to save the added information such as Employee Name, Location, and Price for that service. |
Delete | It allows you to remove the added information from the list. |
Items
- Displays the list of items that will be used for the specific service.
Add Item | It allows you to input an inline item related to the Service. The list includes Item, Quantity, Unit. |
Save | It allows you to save the added information such as Item, Quantity, and Unit for that service. |
Delete | It allows you to remove the added item from the list. |
3. To save the changes in your Service Details, click the Update button.
Deactivate a Service
- Head to the Inventory page of your Merchant Portal, click the Services tab.
- Click a row of an existing service.
- Click the "DEACTIVATE" button.
NOTE: Once you have deactivated a service, you will not be able to see use it in Work Orders or in creating an Invoice.
Delete a Service
- Head to the Inventory page of your Merchant Portal, click the Services tab.
- Click the trash bin icon under the Actions column of an existing service.
A confirmation message will appear, click " YES" to delete the item. Otherwise, click "NO".
NOTE: The deleted service should no longer be available or visible in the Service List.
