Work Order Settings

There is a new feature in Work Order wherein the Merchant can now control the work order schedule frequency of their Employees.

Learn how to set your Employee’ work assignments multiple times a day or in a week. Follow the step-by-step guide discussed in this tutorial.

I. Disable strict Employee time scheduling

Instructions:

  1. Go to Work Orders.

  2. On the upper right side of the page, click the Work Order Settings

  3. A modal shall open displaying the Work Order Settings wherein you can enable or disable Employee time scheduling.

Note:

By default, the Work Order Settings is set to restrict Employee time scheduling.

4. Uncheck the checkbox with the label, “ENABLE STRICT EMPLOYEE TIME SCHEDULING”

Ticking this setting off means you are allowing your Employees to be assigned on multiple work order assignments in a day or in multiple days.

5. Click the Save button to completely save the changes in the settings.

A confirmation message shall be displayed indicating that you have successfully updated the Work Order Settings.

6. Close the modal and try creating multiple work orders assigned to the same Employee.

Once you have saved your changes on Work Order Settings, you can now create work orders where Employees can be assigned to multiple work assignments at the same time or day in a week or more.

II. Enable strict Employee time scheduling

  1. Go to Work Orders.

  2. On the upper right side of the page, click the Work Order Settings

  3. A modal shall open displaying the Work Order Settings wherein you can enable or disable Employee time scheduling.

  4. Check the checkbox with the label, “ENABLE STRICT EMPLOYEE TIME SCHEDULING”.

Ticking this setting means you are not allowing your Employees to be assigned on multiple work order assignments in a day or in multiple days.
    5. Click the Save button to completely save the changes in the settings.
A confirmation message shall be displayed indicating that you have successfully updated the Work Order Settings.   

    6. Close the modal.

Note:

Once you have saved your changes on Work Order Settings, you can no longer create work orders having the same Employee working on the same day.
