Customer Pays for Invoice
Learn how the customers pay for their invoices from their registered email address in the Merchant's portal.
The customer can pay for the invoice created for the work order from an email that is triggered by their merchant by sending the invoice in the customer's email.
The customer shall receive an email from developer@servicepay.app.
View and Pay Invoice as Customer
1. Click the View and Pay Invoice button from the email.
2. As a customer, you have three (3) actions that you can do within this view:
Register / Login my Account | allows you to log in to your account or register if you do not have an account yet in the Customer Portal. |
Pay Via ACH | |
Pay Via Card | allows you to pay the invoice via credit/debit card. |
Pay Via Card
1. Click the Pay Via Card button.
The Invoice Details such as Invoice Number, Invoice Date, the Total Amount to be paid and the Address of the customer are displayed in the form.
The address that is displayed in the form is the default address of the customer, you can add a new address while in this form. The customer can choose what type of address they want to add. (a) Home, (b) Office, (c) Shipping, (d) Billing.
If you have not added a credit card details for your customer, the form will display “ This customer has no cards saved”, otherwise, the saved credit cards will be shown in a list.
- If the customer does not have saved cards yet, click the “Click here to Pay Via Card”
- If the customer has saved cards in the profile, select the preferred card from the list.
Select Address | Select an existing address you have in your customer profile |
Add Address | It allows you to add a billing address and save it to your profile. |
Add card to my account | By ticking this will add the entered card details to your customer profile. |
Accept Terms and Conditions | Accept the terms and conditions provided by your Merchant to proceed to pay the invoice. |
Card number |
Refers to a long set of digits displayed across the front or back of your credit/debit card. |
Card Expiration |
Refers to specific month and year when a physical credit card expires. |
Card CVV | Refers to ("Card Verification Value") on your credit card or debit card is a 3 digit number on VISA®, MasterCard®, and Discover® branded credit and debit cards. |
Terms and Conditions | You have to agree with the Terms and Conditions set by Heartland Service for Professionals. |
Once you have successfully paid for the invoice, it will have an INVOICE PAID status that appears on top of the Invoice page. You will also receive an acknowledgment receipt in your email that payment has been made.
