Create and Manage Brands

Learn how to create and edit item brands from the Inventory Management module. 

This section gives you step-by-step instructions for adding, updating, removing brands from your inventory. 



Search for a Brand

If you have already saved a number of brands on the list and you would like to search for specific brand information you can use the Search feature built-in every tab of Inventory Management. 

  • Type in your search keyword in the search field to start looking for a specific brand.
  • Search entries can be by Brand Code, Brand Name and Brand Description

Create a Brand

  1. Head to the Inventory page of your Merchant Portal, click the Brands tab.
  2. Click the Add Brand button to open the form.

Brand Name Enter a name for your brand.
Brand Code Enter a brand code as a unique identifier for your brand to create. 
Brand Description Enter a brief description of your brand.
Brand Logo Upload an image that represents your brand.
isActive Toggle to activate the brand upon saving. Otherwise, the brand will be inactive. 
isFeatured  Toggle to feature your brand. 

3. Click the Add new brand button to save the brand created. 

4. Once the brand is created, the new brand should appear on the list. 

Update a Brand

  1. Head to the Inventory page of your Merchant Portal, click the Brands tab.
  2. Click the pencil icon under the Actions column of the existing brand.

3. Once you have made your changes on the Brand form, click the Update Brand button. 


Delete a Brand

  1. Head to the Inventory page of your Merchant Portal, click the Brands tab.
  2. Click the trash bin icon under the Actions column of an existing brand.

A confirmation message will appear, click "YES" to delete the discount. Otherwise, click "NO".  

NOTEThe deleted brand should no longer be available or visible in the Brands List.
