Learn how to reset your password

There are two ways in resetting a password. If you forgot your original password, you can use the Forgot Password link. Otherwise, to ensure confidentiality and security of your account, you can use the Reset Password functionality under the User Profile.

Reset Password using the Forgot Password Link

  1. Go to the Merchant Portal by accessing the merchant portal URL.

   2. Click Forgot Password.

   3. Enter your email address on the provided text box. Then click Send Password Verification. You should see a notification that the email has been sent.

   4. Check your email. You should receive from noreply@mg.hfsp.email with subject: Your Password Reset.

   5. Open the email and click the Reset My Password button.

Alternative: If the button does not work, you can copy the code above the button to your browser’s address field:

   6. You will be redirected to the Change Password page. Enter your new password (v1.xx requires 4 digits.) then click Change Password. You will be redirected to the login page once successful.

You should also receive a notification to your email that your user credential has been changed.


Resetting Password using the User Profile Reset Password

NOTE: If you are a new user (not the Merchant Owner either) of the Merchant Portal, your password by default is 0000. It is highly recommended to change your password to ensure security and confidentiality
  1. Log on to Merchant Portal using your credentials (as sent to your email). Click on the User’s Name found at the top right corner of the dashboard, a drop down will appear.

   2. Click on User Profile.

   3. On the User Profile Page, scroll to Reset Merchant Portal Password section.

   4. Type in your Current Password then your new password and confirm it on the next field. Password combination and length can be more than 4 in this page. Click on the Reset Password button at the top part of the section.

   5. A notification should appear when the password reset is successful.

   6. Log out then log in again ensure that the password is working.
